V2H vs home battery: which backs up your house better?

How it works
The car's usable backup is its battery size minus the share you keep for driving, or the carmaker's floor if that's higher. The battery's is its rated capacity less a 5% reserve. Days of backup divide each by what the house uses in a day during an outage. Power is the most either can deliver at once. Cost is the V2H hardware plus typical installation for the car, and the installed price for the battery.
Battery sizes for cars are approximate, because most carmakers don't publish usable capacity. V2H availability changes fast: check the carmaker's own eligibility page before you buy anything.
